Most certainly the most astonishing place I have visited yet. The tranquility of the the far and the open beauty of the log cabin is just unreal. We had the best time here and will most definitely be back very soon!!!

One of the most peaceful and tranquil areas to chill at with the family, it's self catering so make sure to bring all your comforts from home - leave the laptop and cellphone behind and be one with nature!!! Definitely one of the most beautiful hidden gems in the Midlands.

Peace and Tranquility on the banks of Khayalami Bay, Albert Falls Dam.

The Fish Eagles Lair is a 6 sleeper self catering cottage with a smaller 4 sleeper cottage the Owls Nook just 60m away. Both cottages are in a very quiet secluded area, just 30 minutes from Pietermaritzburg.

Fishing, Bird watching, hiking or cycling - these cottages provide the perfect getaway from the bustle of city life.

Both cottages are off the grid - solar lights, gas fridge and stove, with fire boilers providing the hot water. Nice gardens, a bonfire area and an inside fire place mean you can braai inside or outside.
